when Xander moves away in 5th grade Luna gets sad and tells her mom she loved Xander why did he leave even though she had Xander's moms phone number and she used to call everyday when she would call there would be no response so after a while Luna just gave up...
3 years later Xander comes back, Luna and Xander look completely different so they don't really remember eachother....
