A curse has hung over the town of Glendale for years, protecting the people from something wicked that lurks in the depths of the woods. But the curse is broken, releasing the demons on the town.
Madison Collins is a 21-year-old witch living with her grandma in a cottage on the outskirts of Glendale. Her life is simple but pleasant. "Allow me? Allow!" She was volcanic now. Her voice was not hers - it was high and screechy and she tried wrenching her arms away but he was too strong.
He pinned her against the wall, his head craning towards her. His breath blew on her face. Her heart was racing as she held her breath.
His blue eyes were black and sharp; his smile was anything but friendly. A predator's smile, knowing he had his prey trapped.
"This is cute," he said. "For right now. But if you keep this up, it will not be cute and I will have to punish you."
Leaning in further, she was sure he was going to kiss her. His lip dipped down to her neck and kissed it gently. Sending chills throughout her, sparking a desire.
She hated herself for it.
Then his teeth nipped her - filled with more pain than pleasure.

Excerpt only: I quickly run in their direction as my claws elongate into fierce points. I watch as a man in all black strikes down and kills one of the innocent packless men before turning to another. I closed my eyes ready for my death when I heard a very loud and dangerous growl, I swear I felt the ground under me shook by it.
