All her life, Yumiko felt like an alien,always longing for a home that's somewhere far, always feeling out ot of place, with no place to truly belong in. The only hope in her life being her dog Hoshi, and stars, who seem to watch over her ,but despite this,she suffers, trying to fight with the deep sadness she feels, until one day. She decides to take her own life away. As she loses consciousness,she watches the stars suddenly go out. As she is lying unconscious,she finds out the truth about herself and her true home.

One being stands out in particular to Polaris. It was love at first sight. When Polaris considers traveling down to Earth just to become a human and be with her, he sneaks away from Ursa Minor and descends to Earth. Back on Earth, Ashtynn is a bit a klutz. She acted like every other stereotypical anime girl. Ashtynn was judged a lot for this, causing her to have little to no friends in middle school. When high school came around, she changed her appearance and personality. Ashtynn basically became a delinquent--she got into fights, skipped classes, and trashed school property. Everything was going "well" until her real identity was uncovered and her life went back to the way it was before...until the star boy suddenly transfers to her school.
