"Don't take it personal. You just weren't chosen that's it." Gun said to himself.
"But he was." The insecurity whispered back. "He's special."
"Well Mark only glanced at him. How could he know all about him in a second." Gun tried to reason.
"Mark saw something in him that he didn't see in you." The voice in his head hissed.
"He's better than you."
"You Mean Nothing to Mark."
"You're plain ordinary."
The voices filled his mind consuming him whole.
When the two boys hugged on stage Gun did the best he could to not scream.
