"STOP IGNORING ME." I saw the breath leave my chapped lips in the cold air, my hands slowly unclenched and I turned to face him once again. "Listen, that was a mistake. On both of our parts." I spoke slowly to make sure he would be able to comprehend what I was saying.
"Now leave me alone." I finished my sentence and tried to walk away. But of course, that spoiled brat always has some type of retaliation. "No. I don't want to." His jaw was clenched and for once in his life he looked serious.
I scoffed loudly. "Dude I told you to let me be, what more could you want now? My best friend likes you, can't you understand that? We need to stop this weird sexual vibe between us. Okay? Okay!" Not letting him get another word in I ran off back inside the house and tried to find Eliza.
Every time I saw her face, it made my heart fill with guilt. She's liked him for years now. I'd say it's an obsession but she'd be stubborn and deny, deny, deny. But it's clear as day.
