The thundering of the waves against the cliff seems to intensify. Harry shifts slightly; it feels like the earth is beginning to tremble.
"I'm investigating your case," Harry says, raising his voice over the roar of the waves. The edge of the cliff is beginning to crumble into the sea and he stumbles backwards. "I'm trying to find you. Where are you? If this is real, tell me!"
Draco opens his mouth but the cliffs are crumbling, falling away like sandcastles, and the terrifying darkness of the storm-wild waves reaches up to eclipse Harry.

HP 6 - A different Half-Blood Prince
Someone is at Hogwarts, trying to bring Harry to Voldemort. Is it Draco Malfoy? Or a new follower of Voldemort? Harry struggles with coming to terms with his destiny and losing Sirius. He pushes his friends away, but they don't let him. Harry finds himself falling in love, but he isn't the only one. I wrote this 15 years ago right after book 5 came out. Back then there wasn't any Facebook, Pottermore, fanfiction.net or Wattpad and the most lbgt examples I had was with Willow on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Will & Grace. So this book has no slash or ships outside of normal relationships. So sorry, no Drarry (i don't think that word existed back then). I'm pretty sure ship was just a boat back then too. I could conceivably rewrite it but I feel it would be compromising my original work so I will post it as is. I wrote it before Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince came out. I say again that no part of the story relates to JK's book six or seven. I wrote it before the book was released. A summary of the book is that all I had was the title of JK's book, so I wrote about a Half Blood Prince. I tried to stay as consistent with canon up to book 5 including necessary filler to make a complete book. Note that the chapter art is mine and I'm definitely an aspiring artist.
