Aliens. They came to attack earth in the year 2039 while looking for an artifact. Ryan Pakulski, a researcher and explorer had found a map and a way to get to an artifact called Midas Box. It can heal and kill as easily as a wink. The armada attacks the Pukulski residence in search for the map to Midas Box. But when Ryan won't give answers they bring young Oliver Pakulski into the fight. He hides the map but at a great cost. The map fusses itself into his arm and he loses his father. 
     Now after years after being taken by the aliens Oliver finally arrives back at earth. As he tries to warn the Salvins next victim him and 5 other become the new Power Rangers. A legend that has been lost for years now reemerges to save human kind from Midas Box as it did hundreds of years ago. Will the new team be able to save the earth or will there world be taken by the Salvins. The fate of the world is in there hands.

The Rangers then learn how Sheldon came up with the idea to create his own team of Power Rangers, different from the ones made from the Grid. And what's more shocking is that the force behind it all is someone very familiar to them, especially to one Ranger specifically. To stop this new foe, the Rangers have now become: "the Power Rangers Cube Battlers", fighting the new threat while reluctantly fighting the Morphin Grid Power Rangers to avoid exposure.
