Dan is different. He always has been and always will be. It's not his fault anyway, nothing ever is, so what is the point in anything when you have nothing to live for?
All that changes when he meets Phil, and realises he does have something to live for, but it's never that simple. Phil knows there's something different about Dan, but how is he meant to help when all Dan knows how to do is shut people out.
Will Phil be able to get through to Dan when he's spent his whole life doing one thing? It's hard to help someone who doesn't want to be helped, especially when they won't accept responsibility for anything in their life.
Because what does Dan always think to do?
