Welcome to Mobius a perfect place to live. Why, everything you need is right here on this very planet. We have technology, robot servants, and anything you could possibly think of. Now come on dow... down- own... to... pl-planet... MoBi...Us. A broken TV shuts off as it lays on the ground on the street. A polluted city was being attacked from the robots that were supposed to be servants but somehow they malfunctioned. We go to the top of a building as we see a shadowy figure sitting down at the edge of the tower with one leg dangling down from the roof and the other bent on top of the edge as the figure rested its arm on top of its knee gazing down at the polluted city. Everything is... gone. There's nothing left for me to do. All I have are my two sons, my only daughter, and my friends. I just don't know what to do anymore. My wife is gone, robots are taking over the planet, and what's worse... is that I'm supposed to be a hero. I'm Sonic. Sonic The Hedgehog and my wife Amy Rose has died to protect our children. Now it's my job to protect planet Mobius with the help of my younger brother, Miles "Tails" Prower, a red Echidna named Knuckles, two hedgehogs, Silver and Shadow. But I also have to protect my kids from the danger that hides through the alley ways in Planet Mobius. --- Sonic's age - 35 Shadow's age - 39 Knuckles' age - 36 Amy's age - 32 Tails' age - 28 Silver's age - 34 --- This story takes place in the future. Is this mysterious newcomer really working for Robotnik, or is he just confused and misunderstood? And what are his intentions towards Alex? Is he friend or foe? Most importantly, is there a way to change Sonic back? And... does he even want to change back?

This is a Sonadow AU where Shadow is an alien from a different universe. He finds Mobius and tries to become the most powerful... but without anyone noticing him. He is trying to become one of them. Over time, he figures out that Sonic is the quote on quote "ultimate lifeform" on Mobius. He tries to become acquaintances with Sonic so he can learn their culture... as things take a turn. (These characters are seen as young adults. The only child depicted in this story is Tails. So for whoever may be thinking I am sexualizing minors, you're wrong. I also will say that this book is heavily emotional and has very graphic scenes. So I advise to whoever reads this as well to be very open minded and aware of the triggers I've listened down.) A rebellion has formed in the kingdom of Mobius. Led by the determined Shadow the Hedgehog, a group of assembled bandits have assembled to dethrone the current ruler: Miles "Tails" Prowler. With the defenders of the kingdom strained thin, the victory seems eminent. Until a deformed, metal-coated warrior steps forward to meet the threat. Sonic the Hedgehog. Follow Sonic and Shadow as the two heroes fight for true rule over the kingdom of Mobius, and claim what each truly believes to be justice. Fall into Chaos is meant to be my love-letter to the series. While this can still be enjoyed with a minimal understanding of the series, it does help to know your stuff! The story is meant to really unravel the characters of the franchise I love. Really highlight their flaws, strengths, motivations, all that. And it was fun imagining a darker tone to Sonic the Hedgehog, like seeing a meaningful struggle for Sonic *coughcoughSonicForcescough*. Lastly, trust me, I know what this is. A Sonic fan story. But, don't worry. The fan characters are non-existent...kinda. The story is actually cohesive, makes for what I truly think is a thought-provoking, genuinely fun story! With plenty of Sonic's trademark cheesiness and personality. So with all that being said, please. Enjoy Fall into Chaos.
