The world is wiped bare of its population after a relentless disease infects, attacks, and kills anyone it comes into contact with. Left in the middle of nowhere during a harsh winter, Jason and Holden face the hardships of "the pierce". They may feel more than friendship, but even after the world ends it can be hard to admit your feelings. Authors Note: "Mature Setting" turned on for mild gore (not anything too descriptive), action?, mild swearing. Idk yet...

+ Co-written with Meteoritezr + First rule of living with the Flock? No names. Nothing real anyway. You don't survive with your humanity, you shed it, or it sheds you. Zombies were said to be impossible, that they'd never happen, well obviously whoever said that had underestimated human curiosity. It started with the melting of the Poles, which uncovered diseases that hadn't been seen in millennia. Obviously, when a flesh-eating parasitical virus was found, scientists in all their glory decided to study it, which led to the greatest calamity in human history. Warning: This is the original book 1, it is now considered more of a prelude/building character relationships arc than a book. This provides backstory and sets the foundation for the characters and their relationships. The action starts in the new book 1 - Migration. - TW: Gore, Cursing, Death, etc. Not recommended for anyone who can't stomach gore or other zombie stuff or LGBTQ+. Homophobia will not be tolerated in any way, shape, or form -
