Nova Phoenix, a female born with not one but ten soul marks implanted into her body. Sinse the age of two, she had been living alone and surviving on the streets. I know I know she is WAY to young to be living like this. Her parents had died on her second birthday leaving her alone. Because of her abilities, she is able to get information just by asking through thoughts.
At the age of four-teen, she had became a well known hacker, and one of the smartest person on Earth. Nova doesn't exists to anyone but herself sinse she deleted all evidence against it at four-teen.

In this society, everyone has a soulmate. And the way to find yours is just look. Along with a soulmate, everyone has a small tattoo on their cheek with a symbol. Some could be a star, a flower, a yinyang, a fish, or even waves. There are so many people that the symbols are almost limitless. The tattoos don't care about gender or number. There could be gay matches, and there could even be polyamorous matches. The tattoos will tingle when you are near to your sm. And they will glow if you have found only one of your sm's if your match was poly. The trick is, you don't get the tattoo until you are 16. And even if you are near your match, as long as one of you are not of age, your tattoo will not tingle. Also, they are normal tattoos (except you don't get it or choose it, it just appears) so you can get rid of it. But if you do, your sm won't die but they will get very sick.
