Jack Avery is abused by his "boyfriend" and is blackmailed and forced not to tell anyone. Especially Corbyn. And his boyfriend knows about Jack's fondness towards Corbyn, so he threatens Corbyn's life to keep Jack quiet.
Corbyn Besson is Jack's long term best friend. They met online and met shortly after. On one their meet-ups, they were having a double date and Corbyn notices Jack acting different. He shrugged it off but he regrets it later.
Especially when it comes down to a life being threatened and a horrid visit to the hospital.
Corbyn wants to help the boy he had fallen for. But Jack doesn't want any help. Not even from Corbyn, the guy he likes more than a friend.
Because to him, Nobody Gotta Know The Truth.
