Sara Finnighan is left grief-stricken following the loss of her husband Peter, who died in a fishing boat accident.  Through her grief being constantly sick and feeling ill, she contemplates ending her life.

Then, one stormy night, she is visited by a legendary spirit from the sea depths, who gives her a cryptic message.  She is devastated further to realise next morning  it was just a dream.

She speaks with her sister-in-law Elaine, and tells her of the dream, how vivid it had seemed. Elaine then relates the local folklore about silkies, seals,  and in doing so, they decipher the message...

" I try hard to fight the ache in my heart caused by his question. I knew he was not in love with me I was the one in love with him. "Have some respect to your future wife and daughter in law of this family" His mother snaps Atticus takes a step toward his mother his eyes flashes Anger " the only women I will marry is Anya, no one else. " He doesn't say anything after this as he stroms out of the room. my eyes follows him until I can't see him anymore.
