Teenager Taliyah Vergarra aspires to live a serious, joyful, and fully meaningful life, but fate has not been kind to her. Lumaki siyang walang ama at nasa kustodiya siya ng kanyang ama-amahan na pangatlong asawa nang kanyang ina. Every time she returned from school, she encountered her stepfather, who was intoxicated and harming her mother. He yells and curses nonstop as she sobs by herself in her room.

She's spent her entire life carrying all of the pain with only two hands. She's never been traded for the comfort or serenity she desired. May pag-asa pa kayang maranasan niya ang buhay na pinapangarap niya?

Then she disappears into her hellish world. Nagtungo siya sa bayan ng Emelle, sa siyudad ng Grellyn. Nagpakalayo-layo sa mundong nakasanayan niya. Nanatili siya sa isang Inn, dahil doon, maganda ang lugar, sariwa ang hangin, walang taong nakakakilala sa kanya, makakapagpahinga siya at tamang-tama para makakapag-isip.

It was the right decision for Taliyah and the proper course to take. She discovered a fleeting world, a dream, somewhere where her existence was the complete reverse of what it was in reality. Mas pipiliin niya ang mundong iyon, doon nalang manirahan at manatili kumpara sa dati. However, that path will soon become worn out and broken.
Would she go back in her distressing reality or stay in her perfect dream and fade too?
