When Ivy and her family move to a cloud covered town, she dreams dreams that are too vivid and fatal, they seem like real life. She can't forget them, but you wouldn't forget a scene of you going through a seizure and seeing someone else's death, would you? So when she dreams of a certain scrawny boy with warm orange brown eyes, she needs to find him, and maybe even prevent his death. Who is he? Where is he? Is he alive? Can she save him? But most importantly... is she looking into the past, the present, or the further?

Ivy-Marie Hollandaise is not your average sixteen year old girl. Sure, she has long dark brown hair, deep green eyes that sometimes seem black, is not at all tall, has a twin sister and an older brother and her family moves around a lot. She doesn't want friends - why would you if you have books and dance, right? - and she only wants to earn enough money to start living on her own, to stay in one place for more than a few months. She has no other purpose, her dreams are a tad too big and her past feeds on her.
