This is the entire Schism, the first book of the Pearseus series that reached #1 on Amazon, that lays down the back story to Rise of the Prince.

It's New Year's Eve, the year of 2099, but the distinguished guests aboard the Pearseus won't get to countdown seconds; soon they'll be counting bodies and survivors after the spaceship's crash landing on another planet.

The good news? The planet is seemingly hospitable both in resources and in terms of the natives' attitude towards earthlings.

The bad news? They might have come on this planet bare of possessions, but what they haven't been able to shed are the shortcomings of their human nature. Will that be the sole threat to a unified future, or is the new land and its first inhabitants not as innocent as they look?

In the realm of Axos, humans exist with supernatural powers that are the basis of society and technology. Advancements, achievements, having a strong ability and being able to use it efficiently stood as the major symbol of class, with abilities tying into traits like intelligence with research to back it. Thus, the brightest and strongest of each generation were all sent to Avernius, the floating city at the center of the continent close to the core of the realm, the pinnacle of human achievement and an eternal shrine to the constellations, the humans that have transcended mortality through their ability. Of course, there is a deeper meaning in the schools in this magnificent city, as the schools produce tons of successful students every year, with the best being deemed as rankers. The cream of the crop is then put through trials and tests in order to attempt to qualify for the DECK initiative, who's original initiative was to create more constellations but now has a different role to play. As the current year approached, the covenant, a human that had transcended the realm of constellations and maintained the barrier around the realm, died for a mysterious reason. Thus, the graduates of the DECK initiative were gathered and each were put through tests designed to help them ascend into the position. In this story, the characters are all rankers from the four high schools and are attempting to qualify for DECK as they go through the qualification test for the program.

The multiverse theory states that there is a universe for every possible scenario, a number so large it's possibly infinite. Would that mean there's a universe where my book is real. 14 year old Max Carsley finds himself hanging in the delicate balance of being a normal teenager and learning how to rule a planet. He lives in a highly advanced interstellar civilization spanning light years, sharing it with 11 different intelligent bipedal humanoid alien species, including humans, with access to flying cars, wormhole portals, and the technology to traverse the stars. How can one find balance with this chaotic lifestyle? What are royalty really like behind closed doors? And most importantly... what secrets are the members of the galactic council hiding? Find out as Max, his family, and his friends discover things that not only lead him further down his path of fate, but help him discover more about himself and the universe. This is not your typical SciFi/Fantasy Novel. It's so much more. This story is a mix of teen drama and space politics. It's kind of a mess but like, so am I. Every chapter is important, so don't skip any! Is this book mature cause I like to swear? You be the judge. IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS IS A DRAFT!! THIS IS NOT THE FINAL VERSION OF THIS BOOK!! THE FINAL VERSION WILL HOPEFULLY BE ON STORE SHELVES CAUSE THAT'D BE SO COOL!! (Final version will include whatever tweaks are necessary to have all 4 books sync perfectly)
BEARTH by TheLeoRigo

In a future far from the fantasy we would all hope for, mans' invincibility will be put to the test. After a solar flare hits and wipes out half of the earth's population, the survivors have no choice than to wait for their slow but inevitable extinction. Having been raised through a wealthy family, Harvey, at the age of 21 is fortunate to experience the last days of mankind. Though seconds after the broadcast of the world's final hours, Harvey and the rest of humanity are mysteriously abducted from earth. --Man again awakens, though not in their beds at home but years later spread across a wild field of grass. Their earth that was once in a solar peril has somehow been salvaged and mysteriously replenished like new. Waking up with his girlfriend and sister by his side, Harvey journeys his way to the Mayan pyramids that are rumored to still be standing and birthing society. Hoping to reach loved ones in an already established city, they navigate through the forested jungles to realize this is not the earth they once knew and loved. Rebellious groups take upon themselves to rewrite the rules of the world as the gathering of man does not always fall on stable minds. With the help of friends and discovered life forms along the way, Harvey begins to understand why exactly their planet was salvaged. Making sense of the insensible, their adventures show evidence of not only the altered biology of earth, but also that of mankind... Bearth is 92,440 words of pure imagination and has been entertainingly my first novel ever attempted. I am just curious to see if my story can be as much fun to read as it was to write :) I sincerely thank each of you for your time, Rigo Miller-:

Sometimes magic comes to those who least expect it... Jacob Clark doesn't have time to believe in fantasies. He goes to school, works his after-hours job hard, and does what he can to keep his family above water. So after a mysterious girl tells him he's a prince from another world, he laughs the story off as fiction. But when his family is kidnapped by very-real attackers, Jacob has no choice but to team up with the girl to get them back... In just 48 hours, Jacob must cross worlds to retrieve a magical key and rescue his family. With only the girl's misfit band of traveling companions and his own untested abilities at hand, the quest seems doomed to fail. But this is one job he can't bear to lose. To save his family and the kingdom, he'll have to live up to his princely legacy... Forsaken Prince is the first book in a series of coming of age fantasy adventures. If you like original magic systems, imaginative monsters, and fast-paced action, then you'll love Andrea Pearson's series.
