Soon after moving to Ireland with her ill grandmother, Ro Harris steps into a Fairy Ring and is spirited away to a new realm. She finds herself sold into slavery and taken to the land of snow and ice, the Frostfall Court. It is there that she is mistaken for someone else and is forced to leave for the Tempest Court for her safety. Accompanied by a Halfling, Arik, she endures the creatures of the realm and the Fairies that are after her or at least the woman that she resembles. Ro must do all that she can to not only survive the Fairy Realm, but to make it back to her own before it's too late for her grandmother.

Mist started surrounding me and with horror I saw the colour of the river changing to red. Moving closer, I realised it wasn't colour, it was blood.
