Without warning, Mina, your little sister, leapt onto your bed and woke you up. You let out a grunt as your mind was pulled out of sleep and Mina continuously whispered frantic words in your ear.
"What?" you muttered in your pillow out of the corner of your mouth.
"LOOK OUTSIDE!" Mina harshly whispered the words as she lifted your head up with her small hands.
Your eyes adjusted until they finally focused on your window where you saw a glowing light coming from your mother's rose beds.
