1923:
A government proclamation decrees every supernatural creature must register for the draft or face deportation.
Ollie, former-hooker without the heart of gold, could care less about proclamations. All she wants is to stop stripping in a dump on the wrong side of the tracks and start stripping at Vipera, the most exclusive club in Potomac City. She'll do anything to get that job. Even contend with the werewolf gang that runs Vipera, and their handsome, calculating, second-in-command mobster.

FBI agents Julius and Norma, however, do care about proclamations and how they connect with their human and supernatural trafficking case. A case they've traced back to Vipera and the wolf pack behind it. When Ollie falls into their laps, the opportunity to get a pair of eyes inside the club is too good to pass up, even if it means blackmail.
Dodging mobsters, bullets, and curses, the unlikely three-some must race to take down the trafficking ring terrorizing the city before the wolves can catch on to their operation. The alternative would mean their jobs, dreams, and possibly their lives.

Soon it becomes apparent why: Mason is a werewolf. But when a fight turns into a sudden kiss that neither expects, Kieran's feelings for Mason turn to attraction in an instant. None of it makes sense - vampires and werewolves are supposed to be mortal enemies, so why does Kieran find Mason so irresistible? He knows that each kiss is dangerous, each bite is unpredictable...
