Katie Romano isn't what you expect your average, nineteen year old New Yorker to be like.

After all, she ran away from the mean streets of London on her sixteen birthday, her main goal to escape the man who abused her and killed her mother right in front of her eyes: her Father, the leader of the London gang called The Association. She boarded that plane and never looked back, making a not so legal life for herself in New York as the best hit-man in the business.

But, just when she thought her life was secure and she knew what her future entailed, a mysterious man named Axel walked into it, asking her to join a team. But, this wasn't your average team. This team was made up of the best young criminals from around the world, brought together to follow three simple rules:

1. Always do your job right, quick, and simple.
2. Never ask questions.
3. Never get caught.
