Inspired by the real-life events of a tragic love story, Love Doesn't Play Fair is a queer romantic tragedy about two young girls who fall in love despite the hateful worlds they've grown up in.
At 14, Rachel Brown has been raised in a devout Christian home for her whole life. She goes to church every Sunday and even some Wednesdays. She has been taught since the moment she was old enough to understand that love is to be shared between one man and one woman, no exceptions. Rachel believed every word of this philosophy that her parents forced on her-- until she met Grace.
Grace Harrah, the new girl at church, knows that she doesn't belong. She has never understood why a group of people have felt that they have the right to tell the whole world how to live and who to love. Of course, she'd never tell that to her parents. To her parents, she has always been the perfect daughter. Never falling in with the wrong people or breaking any of their rules... until they move, and she meets Rachel.
Starting off as the best of friends, their love quickly showed them something about themselves that they hadn't had the courage to see before. Their love swept them through all the pain and hatred that faced their bond. Neither of the girls' families accepted their "unnatural" love for one another. Grace's family was convinced that Rachel had tainted their perfect little girl. Rachel's family went as far as to disown her completely.
Still, despite the hate and the anger of their so-called-friends and family, the girls' love grew on. Their bond seemed unbreakable, until one day, when tragedy struck down on their lives. After a car accident left Grace in the hospital mute, paralyzed and with a traumatic brain injury that destroyed her memory, their love story seemed to come crashing to a halt. Will love prevail?

Noah moved to a new town just a few weeks before school starts back up again. He meets a few people on his bus and they end up best friends. One of them tells them about a party that they got invited to. They invite Noah and their other friend along. Noah gets sort of lost but finds his way to a corner. He hangs out there for a while until he feels someone bump into him. He's the one who says sorry and the other questions It. The question soon gets taken back. Someone calls the others name "Logan" Noah knew the boy was hot and he seemed nice, but he never got to ask him Anything. He snaps out of his thoughts when on of his friends show up. Noah asks them if they know anything about Logan and his friend responses with no but he's friends with someone who's friends with Logan. Soon the conversation turns into who can drink more. The next day Noah remembers that his friend said to leave notes in Logan's locker. And Noah does just that. After a while Logan needed to know who was leaving him the notes. He skipped class just to find out, but he got caught and sent to detention. Noah was also there for passing notes in class. Logan groaned an annoyance when he remembered Noah from the party. Then it hit him like a rock. The boy from the party was leaving the notes. The bell rang and before Logan could say anything Noah was gone. Now Noah's friends are gonna try and introduce him to Logan properly. How will it go?Complete

Kate hasn't ever lived with siblings before, let alone this many boys, so it's a big change for her. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years. Bonus points for giving Daniel a love interest that was more than just a name.Complete
