This is just a public, online writing journal of my journey as a learning writer. This is just a hobby of mine so don't be too critical. None of these are edited they are just writing prompts that take one minute to write and I move on the the next one.
This is a great way to sharpen your skill. Pick a prompt list, I'll leave some good ones below; and time yourself to write for one minute. Don't worry about GRAMMAR, SPELLING or FLUIDNESS this is just to write absent-mindedly.

The Art of Breathing Underwater
𝐖𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐘 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐑 𝐘𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏 For bipolar fifteen-year-old Aaron, growing up in '90s Dublin, being gay is a choice. It is a choice between risking alienation from his conservative Catholic family and close-minded friends or drowning under the weight of his secrets. So discovering he is falling in love with his witty, bi-racial best friend, Robbie, an aspiring actor, plunges Aaron into a sea of confusion. A Lovely Life
Journey with me back in time as I rewrite the first Journal I kept from when I was in high school, and see that maybe even with how horrible life is most of the times, there are little things spread throughout that make life worth living. My high school experience was full of drama, tears, laughter, and most of all constant search of love, and approval of the people around me. I can't always get what I want in this world. Life is a beautiful mess. It's not perfect, and filled with a lot of disappointments, and heartbreak. There are moments when it all feels too much, but there's not much we can do other than go with the flow of things.Complete

30 Days, 30 Stories: A Writing Challenge
This is a 30 day writing challenge, a collection of short stories. I've always been a world class procrastinator. The goal of this challenge is to get me writing regularly and, hopefully, break me of the perfectionist thinking that often paralyses me. The Rules: 1. Write and publish 1 short story (flash fic, vignette) per day for 30 days. 2. Stories must be at least 100 words. 3. They can be of any genre or subject matter. Like a lot of writers I have notebooks lying around full of random story ideas. Most of my older ideas are for novels and screenplays. Been going thru my old ideas and picking out the ones I think lend themselves to the short story format. I'm also working on coming up with NEW ideas that I can use here. Never been good at using prompts, but this is a good opportunity to experiment with those. All the stories here are original works written specifically for this challenge. "You're a headfuck, a complete headfuck." Red's back is turned as she breathes before heavy raindrops meet her face. "Where is this coming from?" Layla asks out of confusion as she attempts to pull Red by the wrist when Red pulls away quickly. "Don't- don't touch me." Red's voice comes out as a low raspy tone as she towers over Layla, brown meeting green. "Why?" Layla asks, gulping. "Because if you touch me, i'm scared i won't be able to hold back." Red hesitantly speaks as raindrops slide off her face and fall onto Layla's. "Then let me." _____ Reagan Levine and Layla Elsher are high school students in Northern England. The pair grew up with a large dislike for one another's existence purely out of spite.
