A country divided. On one side, a king with an iron fist moves his paper puppets in a world of white and cream. On the other, worn counsellors watching over a bright few cities of ash and flame and delight. Propaganda, lies, and slander sought like poisonous seeds in the minds of ignorant civilians. Only one town lies outside the fray. Mirren was peaceful, hidden behind the mountains in a little valley that could not be penetrated by the fires of the Dyren forces. Safe. Or so they thought. A paper town burned to the ground. A prospering city alive with the light of flame and laughter. And in between it all, one person with the power to raze the world, or save it.
