When a strange, egg-throwing "villain" seems to appear in the city out of nowhere, reporter Mumbo Jumbo sees it as his job to investigate more. However, an even greater and more dangerous evil will threaten the city in a way that no one was prepared for. Will Mumbo survive long enough to figure out who the man in the chicken costume is? Or will the city fall apart before he has the chance?

A YHS/Hermitcraft fanfic. Angsty. There's some mild Grumbo shipping but it could just be seen as platonic. Also Scar/Cub shipping, but only really at the very end and you can ignore it if you want.
