Carly Taylor entered into a new world after a military plane crashed at her school. The event blasted her with pieces of metal along with embedding a piece into her skull, too fatal to remove. While paralyzing her from the waist down, she became technokinetic, a mystery to herself and everyone else if they knew. Years later, she risked exposing herself by entering a summer internship of a lifetime with the U.S. Cyber Security. It was one step closer to uncovering secrets about her past that only a database of confidential files could reveal. With luck, her new knowledge would fill the hole in her and allow her to begin the carefree life she always wanted.

Of course, her technokinesis, if discovered by the wrong people, could lock her in a research lab for good. And at twenty-one years old, a sophomore in college, in a wheelchair, and amazingly gifted with computers, her existence itself drew more attention than she could ever want. It became a race to discover the truth as summer came to a close and more people began to suspect something fishy about Carly.

While Carly's task was seemingly easy, it came with sorting out who she could trust and who was toxic.

She was never good at choosing good company to begin with.

...We were so caught up in the shared moment of care free joy to notice the midnight grey Toyota pickup truck speeding directly towards us. Meters before impact dad finally caught on to what was about to happen, despite it being day the approaching vehicle's headlights blinded us as our cars breaks slammed on, the sound of the tires melting away as the rubber tires scraped against the pavement filled the air and the scent of burning rubber overwhelmed my nostrils, despite our efforts the brakes didn't slow us down, we were to late. There was nothing we could do as we collided head on..." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Attempt two at writing a book lmao, summaries without spoilers are not my strong point but here you go: After a tragic child hood accident Astra is left utterly alone, forcing her to make a massive move across the states to live in Tennessee with her grandmother. A few years pass and Astra finds it difficult to deal with the trauma she experienced as a young child, but surrounded by friends and throwing herself into education she starts to heal, until she meets Jason. In the beginning Jason was a kind, caring guy who seemed genuinely interested in getting to know Astra, but not everyone is who they seem to be. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ TW LIST!!!! Every prototype technology has its risks. After an accident involving a novel robotic suit, Keres cadet Sky begins to have recurring lucid nightmares where she finds herself in a prison called Tartaros. Soon, one thing becomes clear: Tartaros is more than just a dream, and as the lines between reality and her subconscious begin to blur, Sky is forced to question her own perception of the world. Meanwhile, more and more mysterious accidents shake the city of Pharos to the core, threatening the safety and security of the last surviving humans on earth. Through her own accident, Sky finds herself drawn into the investigation of an enigmatic task force. The prototype technology, her dreams, a dubious doctor, a missing part of her medical files and a dark secret from her past all seem to be connected, but how? {FEATURED ON WATTPAD UNDISCOVERED LIST} Sometimes, things can happen in your life that change everything. Moving to a new town. Your parents going through a divorce. Dating someone new. Those sorts of things. Good, bad, easy, hard. Normal. But sometimes strange things happen to people. Ask Chris. He might tell you about when someone started blowing up his phone, telling him to go places in his town. In the middle of the night. Which would be weird enough, except this person - if it is a person - seems to know more about his and his friends' new reality than they do. Than anyone does. Now Chris, Ava, Taylor, and Mike need to find out what's going on. Before they all go insane.
