After witnessing the true intent of the church's cult, Shiloh realizes exactly how they control the town and everyone in it. Desperate to stop all the violence and cruelty, she tries to convince and show the cult's leader, Eden, just how wrong everything the church is putting her up to is. She then begins to regret ever falling for Eden's charming and cold personality, wishing she never had to move to the strange town at all.

"Shiloh." I held her chin in my hand so she would have to look at me. Shiloh flinched and it reminded me of the first time I had talked to her. Slowly rain began to fall but I could hardly feel their cold bites. She was looking up at me and I was frozen by her dark blue eyes. Her intense stare was holding me in my place.
