Power can define you.

17 year old Evlya Ravens is different from most of the people on the planet of Vivix- she possesses a mysterious power that gives her superhuman abilities as well as the ability cast deadly spells.

However, not all people respect differences.

After finding a mysterious necklace called "The Emerald Dragoness" that is rumored to either help control her powers or even give her more, she steals it from the land Avara's crown jewels vault.
But unfortunately for Evlya, her magic is discovered by the Avaran Government in the process.
On the run from the Avarans, she finds shelter in the Shadow Woods with her nonmagical identical twin sister, Alyca, in hope that the bounty over Evlya's head will go down.
But soon enough their small camp is discovered by hunters, and Alyca is taken away by Avaran soldiers, mistaken for her twin.
Time is running out, and there is no time for flawed plans.
Either Evlya must continue to run from the Avarans wearing the necklace, or run to them to find her sister.
Precision and stealth are more than necessary.
One wrong move and the next thing Evlya will be wearing around her neck is a noose.
