Elizabeth is a high school senior. Stressful enough, right? Wrong. They are also a closeted nonbinary. With the help of their black, trans girlfriend, Elizabeth comes out and changes their name to Avery. Their brother is begrudgingly supportive, uncomfortable with all the pride because of his internalized homophobia from being a closeted gay man. This will all come together at no other place than a party when his world comes crashing down all around him as Avery begins a new chapter of their life.
