He wasn't worth any explaination after all the things he had done.He couldn't just show up in my life and pretend that nothing happened when he was the one that destroyed everything we had made. "I am fine with a tainted heart." I reply back. ****************************************** "Thank you for breaking me." Isn't that a line from Sinead O'Connor? I never understood it before. It used to sound like permission, albeit retroactive, to hurt someone. I get it now. Only a lover can wound so deep, cut to the very core. That level of trauma has to be an inside job. You've always been in the background-watching, waiting-as she captured his heart effortlessly. No matter how much you treasured your friendship, no matter how much you told yourself it didn't hurt, the truth lingered like a cruel whisper: he never saw you. But you refuse to fade into the shadows any longer. Desperation turns to determination, and soon, you're willing to do whatever it takes to make him notice you-even if it means crossing lines you swore you never would. Even if it means losing the people who truly care about you. Because love isn't always patient. And sometimes, obsession is just another word for devotion. How far will you go before there's nothing left of the person you used to be?
