After the government was overrun by psychopath serial killers, the whole country was placed under a law in which no one can laugh. It was based on the "try not to laugh" challenge, but the punishment is death.
Twin brother and sister, Stella and Benjamin, who are part of a secret organization, are on a mission to stop the psychopaths from ending all laughter in the United States and more countries.

Steal the phones, sabotage the electrical control panel and close off all other forms of communication to the outside world. Stateside is now under a complete state of chaos, as all doors to the outside world have been electronically sealed and all of the mental patients doors have been unlocked. Kyle sets-up a possy of cannibals, serial killers and psychopaths to hunt and kill all orderlies and doctors, to ensure his escape once dayshift arrives.
