It has been stated over and over in history that there were only twelve Titans ruling the Golden Age before Zeus overruled them. But that's not exactly true. As Gaia had been attempting to force the Titans to submit to her wrongdoings, the eldest, unknown, decided to raise them in the shadows in complete secrecy. Kronos, the ruler of the Titans, is said to be a cruel, unforgiving monster. That's not entirely true, or it never was in the first place. He adores his elder brother and idolizes him. That Titan? His name is Perseus.
