Ceres is just a human. She's just a college student who's been struggling to get through life since the very beginning. Everything has gone wrong no matter what she does right. It's gotten to her mental health as well.
Torrent is her...well, to be honest, they don't even know what their relationship is. Enemies, friends, somewhere in between?
It's hard not to develop feelings for this extroverted, mental case human. Torrent catches a case of the feels and ends up almost destroying the whole country and his relationship with Ceres.
Remember, things are not always what they seem. Even the people you think you can trust have secrets that are best not to be revealed.
