After the constant bullying and beatings, two best friends move to a new school; Violet Star High. They usually try to keep to themselves until they meet two other boys that change their lives forever.
Roman is the drama geek and the track star. He's the teenage heart throb that every boy and girl wants to smooch. His crush on a certain emo dances on the line between admiration and obsession.
Logan is Roman's twin brother and the valedictorian. He's the chubby, nerdy kid that's constantly picked on. He internalizes his emotions and his friends are just waiting for the day he finally snaps.
Virgil is your typical emo teen. He's a snarky little ally cat with a panic disorder. He's also a total tsundere towards Roman because he's kind of a stalker.
Patton is an itty bitty ball of bubbles. He's the sweet pea that's been Virgil's best friend since kindergarten. He's also battling with depression and is secretly waiting for death.

From their father's home country, and their birth place, of Cabo Verde to their mother's country of birth, Ireland. From Ireland to Massachusetts. From Massachusetts to Arizona. After spending several years in a stable environment they're moving again, this time not only are they leaving behind friends but also their mother's grave. Virgil has to convince his twin brother and their dad that, despite his terrible migraines and sometimes crippling anxiety, he won't go down the same road as his mother. On top of having an overprotective family he has to navigate being the new kid in his senior year of high school, making friends, falling in love, and learning how to save a life. How hard can the next nine months be? All he has to do is hold on and convince his new best friend to do the same. I do not own the characters Virgil, Patton, Roman, Remus, Deceit, Remy, or Emile Picani. They belong to the awesome, amazingly talented cinnamon roll that is Thomas Sanders. I also don't like 99% of the music and song lyrics that will make an appearance in this book. I am, however, the proud owner of the hyperactive muse (by the name of Orion who makes an appearance in here) that spawned this story into existence when he was supposed to be helping me work on my other two fan fictions and three original works.
