Okay keep walking. Breathe. He's not following you. He just happens to be going the same way as you. 

For the past ten blocks. 

I took this moment to glance at the man behind me. Our eyes connected and for a second I saw them shine before turning back to a deep dark grey. I had to admit I had never seen that color before and it intrigued me until I remembered that this was a possible Charles Manson psycho who wanted to kill me. 

I had been circling around my apartment for fifteen minutes now. I knew this man was following me and I didn't want to show him where I lived. 

I stopped at a corner to catch my breath and suddenly two large hands gripped my waist. I jumped in shock and my assailant chuckled. Oh lord this man is gonna kill me. 

"You can go home now. I already know where you live." The deep masculine voice tickled my ear and I felt my pulse roar out of control.
