Kamaria was a normal girl, until her parents death, and taken in by Xavier. She met Jean Grey, and they are like sisters. Now they are older, and they still don't know the true potential of their powers. They have always has telekinetic powers, but after two "accidents" happen, Jean has fire, Kamaria has ice. They have always worked better together, but some say fire and ice don't mix. What if fire and ice can mix? Will it empower them, or tear them down?

I am uploading a new, updated version of this book! To me, it is much better and makes much more sense. Please look at and read that one. It is called 'Oddities ❀,' but it now a completely different cover photo. --------- Started: March 20, 2023 1st draft finished: June 25, 2025 Finished editing (on my own): October 10, 2025 --------- I have NO rights or ownership of any of the pictures (including cover photo) or songs! I found them all on google and I would love to give credit but have no way too 😔 --------- In this world about 20% of people have an ability called 'Oddities'. For a lot of them they have a bad backstory and are traumatized so they went into hiding because having this ability isn't normal. In fact a handful of them went to 'facilities' and are never heard from again. Those people refer to themselves as 'inside' and the people who live free from them are 'outside' people. Elsie Kirigaya and 3 of her friends (Kylie, Cassadie and Cersie) have oddities and are living on the 'outside'. At first they lived a 'normal' life. That was until the summer before college Elsie and her friends went on a life changing adventure thanks to her ex-girlfriend (not by choice) named Kylie. They go to two different 'facilities' and help the 'inside' escape while trying to stop the 'President' of the facilities named Damian Lord. He has an evil plan for the ones he captured. All while still finding their feelings for one another. Will they (Kylie, Elsie, Cassadie and Cersie and all of the people they helped rescue from both facilities) be able to catch and stop Damian Lord? What will happen with Kylie and Elsie? Will they get back together or be broken up forever?

My mother wasn't a mutant she wasn't born with the gift of evolution but she knew Charles Xavier from the past they shared. He ignored me at my mothers bequest due since mutants were a secret the majority of the world knew nothing about, she didn't want me in the institution. A week after my 9th birthday one night, I woke up to the smell of burning wood and furniture, I looked for my mother but saw a horror ill never forget a swirl of shadow had her in its hand. She was bleeding from her mouth and nose, when I went to help the shadow smacked me into the wall. My mom screamed in pain as I watched her turn into orange dust. The shadow spoke to me "Happiness is a lie. Life is horror. The light is always dying, all across the universe. The last star will flicker out someday. When it does, all that remains... shadow. And I will be its king, You have Xavier to thanks for this... " As it got closer I raised my hand and screamed a burning pain emanated from my hand and a bright light submerged the house... destroying 12 square blocks where were Xavier's X-men no where.

{Set before X Men, then skipping into X2) Sierra Storm was always an anomaly among her peers. She always wanted nothing more for herself, to just be normal. When she manifested her powers at the age of 12, she was so terrified to find out that she wasn't normal. Until one day, Charles Xavier tracked her down, to tell her or confirm to her rather, that she was in fact a mutant, a very, very powerful one at that. She was brought to the Xavier's School for the Gifted, and she was accepted and integrated into the school, despite her doubts and all of her misgivings about being a mutant and especially a powerful one like Charles said about her. She was not expecting to find two boys there, that had all complete oppositional mutations who also happened to be best friends. One had the mutant name Iceman or Bobby, while the other was Pyro, or John as he had been called since birth. They quickly gave her the nickname Element, after realizing that she had many useful abilities and they were all related to the elements. They also found out very quickly enough to their pleasure, after accidents around the school, that by combining their gifts of their specific elements to hers, that they could create something even more powerful then what they already had on their own. Sierra was not one to scare easily, especially not when it came to being snuck up on, but there is one thing that has always scared her, and that always will scare her.
