Loriella Kenzie Cosworth is an orphan who lives with her aunt and two cousins in an old estate in County Cork, Ireland. After her entire family died in a fire, she found solace under an old bridge near a waterfall. One day she wanders off into the Blarney Castle and finds a journal dated over 700 years ago, written by a mysterious man whose signature is 'M. M.'.
