It was written in the books that every second centenary the rules of the life that a normal innocent boy or girl will fall in love with a vampire from one of most powerful blood line of vampires.

When Gemma hunter a normal teenager from a good family moves to a very small,quiet town called the forks after the death of her younger sister Agatha hunter.

And she begins to notice a few things that are different like how some of the people there are very pale and how the boy from school has a different eye color almost every month.
