Genevieve's biggest comfort in life has always been dancing. When she stood on stage she could easily forget the bullies, the hardships, the problems of being a Jewish orphan in Hitler's Germany and become somebody else. Genevieve can't stand his callous attitude yet she finds herself drawn to him. They share a love of the arts and both have pasts they'd rather leave behind. But will social conventions, reputations and their own ambition get in the way?
