Rosie never thought she'd end up in Japan, working in a small book cafe and getting experiences in the culture she's heard so much about. But it's for a good reason - to escape from her abusive, wealthy family. And yet here she is, living in an apartment with her two besties Peggy and Kaida.
Of course, she's warned from the beginning that Japan is being controlled by 8 crime lords, and their boss is the yakuza lord that strikes fear in everyone's hearts anywhere he goes. He owns the government, so there's nothing they can do to stop him.
But what Rosie doesn't expect is...fall in love with the yakuza lord! She hopes he'd just ignore her and let her be, but it doesn't end that way. Things get from strange to scary when Rosie encounters her family in Japan!
The connection between Rosie and Ryu starts to grow and soon develops into a relationship long before the chaos start. Will she have a chance to confess her love to him, or will she never get the freedom to do so?
