John must join forces with MI6 after a terrible car wreck puts Sherlock in a coma. Now John must figure out the encoded message found at the crash site without Sherlock's help. Luckily, he meets somebody who acts very much Sherlock while under the watchful eye of MI6. Who is this mysterious person, and what does that message say? And what will John do when he finds out who else is after the message?
This is an experimental story. I will post a teaser here first, and if I get good feedback, then I will continue writing. If not, the story will be retired.

You and John Watson were old flames back in your high school year. Thankfully, when you broke up, you still remained friends. That was, until the year of the war came around. While John went to war, you began to tend to your dying sister, who you knew only had a few more years. John and you kept in touch, but the letters started to get more and more infrequent as the war began to get more and more brutal. After your sister died, you moved to London, hoping for a fresh start and to eliminate any memories of your her. The next thing you know, three people get murdered right before your eyes, and guess who shows up to inspect? John Watson. And his friend, Sherlock Holmes. You took a liking to Sherlock, despite his arrogance and sociopathic tendencies, and you slowly begin to see his feelings that he hides underneath his shell. When he sees how clever you are, Sherlock also takes a liking to you, but tries his hardest to hide it. He knows that sentiment is a chemical defect found on the losing side. " I've watched you since you were born but it's obvious that you haven't fully grasped that you cannot see me unless I want you to see me. For someone that has a college degree I would expect more from you. " John scoffed at the deep baritone voice insulting him. " For someone that has supposedly watched me my whole life, I would have assumed that you would have some type of sympathy for me. Besides, I've seen you before. You just choose to hide. " " I'm only like this because I know that you can handle it. You've dealt with me for this long and I'm hiding from you to save you. " He was right. John have dealt with him for a long time. But he was tired of not knowing who he truly was. The voice knew everything about John while John knew nothing about him. " Can you at least tell me your real name, S? " The nickname sent shivers down John's spine since he hadn't called the voice that in years. " Wow, you do remember. But the name is Sherlock Holmes. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go back to being unknown. " John felt a gust of wind hit him which signaled that Sherlock had once again vanished to who knows where. John's guardian angel sure was a charmer. Always knew how to get them. John could say this though. Sherlock Holmes was one angel that intrigued him in ways he didn't know were possible. But he liked it. - In which a guy named John has a guardian angel named Sherlock follow him around for practically his whole life who will help him reach his life goal that everyone needs to complete. Waking You Up
John dies and Sherlock blames himself, so much so that the guilt begins to affect his life. However, he keeps getting dreams of John talking to him and assuring him that he's not dead. Eventually Sherlock doesn't seem to know reality from dreams and everyone around thinks he's crazier than usual. As it is, Sherlock was in coma for awhile and John, very much alive, had been by his bedside constantly and talking to him in hopes he wakes up. Inspired by my favorite Futurama episode.Complete
