From how Prometheus stole the first flame from the gods to how lights flickering in the sky overhead were connected to dragons, this book is an index of all things mythological, folkloric, and most importantly-strange.

My name is Mara, and I've got an extensive knowledge regarding the oddities and ends of our world. I'm sure you're just as skeptical as most of the population, and I don't blame you-but when you're walking home at night and seem to find your place at the corners of our reality, or sitting in a diner as strange lights flicker overhead (ones that don't look like stars), you can't help but wonder if the legends passed down through generations, eroded by the sands time as they are, hold some sort of truth.

After all, you know what they say: where there's smoke, there's fire.

Myths. Gods. Humans. These races are widely known for being the pieces that make up Mythology; however, one race has been lost to the recesses of time. Mythians. The forgotten race of peacemakers born to protect the world from war and chaos. Well that's what they told me in class anyway, but I'm getting ahead of myself. Life before Mr. Gale's Mythian Academy was simple: I only ever worried about what I was going to eat for dinner, what book I was going to read next, or whether my siblings would be able to make it through high school after me, but now life's gotten a lot more complicated because before hurling me down a hole, Alice would be jealous of, my headmaster gave me this letter explaining the unbelieveable truth. ⁓⁓⁓ To my dear First Years, The artifact stolen from the Academy is essential for the continuation of our existence. As you continue in your studies at the Academy, if you are successful, you will come to understand what all of this means, but for now, you three are our best chance to retrieve it. I plead with you: do not lose your sense of self and try hard to work together to achieve your final goal. I suggest working together no matter how different your personalities may be. Teamwork will be your salvation. Your Teacher, Mr. Gale P.S. If you're ever lost just check the map. It will guide you throughout your journey. Oh and you must know, every myth that has ever had you in awe, every being that has ever frightened you, and everything you dream of truly exists. Goodluck.

[NOTE] This book is being reset. It is inaccurate, and out of line. WL will be coming soon. Somewhere. In a distant, vastly different world. Due to a lack of direct "Sun"light, the world is cold and dark. But across this foreign planet, Birds. Many bird-like beings inhabit this world. They've established advanced civilization, monarchies, and five countries across the star shaped continent of the "Starry Feather". The story takes place through the eyes of various birds across the (impressively named) countries of Lightenia, Canadia, Mountainia, Icelandia, and Riverlandia. Though the birds may have lived normally this long, a sudden force makes way to end their peace. Recommended if you like lots of death, despair, destruction, deception, darkness, danger, defenestration, and arson.
