As I stood up and walked over towards the window, I heard a quiet shuffling from across the room. Paying it no mind, I unlocked the latch and lifted up the frame. The crisp scent of rain quickly rushed in and I instantly relaxed, sinking onto the bench. When I noticed that it had gone too quiet, I glanced over at the bed.
My lover's eyes locked with mine and I watched his cheeks turn a light shade of rose as he stared in awe. Chuckling to myself, I opened my mouth to speak. "What is it?"
He smiled at me. "You're just so beautiful, like a god sitting upon the pulvinar."

“I’m in love with you Tavon.” Before he could react I leaned forward and kissed him. It was only a brief kiss, but it set my body aflame. I pulled away and looked in his eyes.
