The story follows Tom Love, as Tom began his journey and life as a Viking in 1271, who is traveling through time via modifying genetics. At the beginning of the travel, Tom welded together various base metals to form artifacts to use as implements, guiding the philosopher with precision. These alchemical tools serves as mechanisms which enables Tom to accurately predict the weather as a prophetic ability amongst others. Within the book is a philosophical underpinning of the theories, by Friedrich Hegel, and referenced Wallace Wattles, and his book 'The Science of Getting Rich'. The Viking who is also a preacher, and protagonist in the story, goes on to teach other characters, the method to receive Love, Health and Wealth in a series of magical events and sermons through to the year 2078. The Archbishop of the African Churches who is eager to halt this process, has with her a cloister of Vicars to place occult hexes on the time traveler and his friends. As a member of the Monistic Society of Philosophical and Metaphysical Thinkers, Tom embarks on a journey to bring the great secret of life to all.

Ranked #1 on Wattpad for "Cosmic Horror" and "Thought-provoking" Categories " When Rosie was younger, she'd always ask me why I spend so much time out in the garden. It wasn't until recently that I thought that she'd be able to understand, but now that she's gotten a bit older, she gets it. " Ariel then looks at Rosie and politely asks her a question. " Rosie, may I see the gift that Tom brought you? " " Sure mama! " Rosie says as she hands Ariel the golden rose and Ariel admires the beauty of the rose and the craftsmanship that it took to make it as detailed as it is. Ariel then speaks from the heart as she holds Rosie's gift in her hands. " The reason why I've cultivated Roses all my life is because of how much I love them and what they mean to me... I told Rosie that for someone to really love roses, their love and admiration for them would have to outweigh the fear of getting pricked by their thorns. To truly love a rose would be to accept the rose for everything that it is, thorns and all, and the people who can do that often share a similar outlook for the people that they love as well. They accept the people that they love for everything they are, regardless of whether those people have thorns... So in my eyes, a person who can truly love and admire roses is a person who understands what love really means. IRON HAND (BOOK ONE): FOR THE GREATER GOOD by LowHale
20 parts Ongoing Mature
"Iron Hand" begins in the throes of what most stories would consider the final battle. Buren, leading the "Seekers of the Artifact," utilizes the power of the Gauntlet, an ancient artifact for which he sacrificed his own arm and triumphs over the dark lord, ending the undead scourge plaguing the lands. Without a foe to unify them, the alliance of various racial, religious, and political factions begins to unravel. Reluctant negotiations result in an uneasy peace that leaves many dissatisfied, especially Buren. Now feared and distrusted for the power of the Gauntlet, Buren finds no respite. Dark visions he believes to be warnings from the Gauntlet haunt his dreams. However, his fears are dismissed as the delusions of a war-weary mind. Determined to confront this new threat, Buren follows his visions to an ancient mountain, located within the sacred grounds of the Dryads. The distrustful Dryads deny him access. Out of options, Buren infiltrates the Faith, a fanatical human supremacist religious order, becoming their enforcer, their "Iron Hand." As Buren travels, we delve into the backstories of the "Seekers of the Artifact," witnessing his navigation through a treacherous web of intrigue where trust is a luxury he cannot afford. The realm suffers under a despotic king, with whom Buren must ally on the surface, while secretly plotting his downfall. The situation is further complicated by his arranged marriage to a woman harboring her own dark secrets. Literary heroes sacrifice everything for others, but what happens when saving the world requires sacrifices from everyone? When do the ends cease to justify the means?. What if saving the world involves sacrificing innocents, betraying loved ones, and allying with despised enemies? "Iron Hand" is a story of a man who gave everything to save the world once and is now prepared to do so again, even if it means crossing lines he never thought he would. But will he still be hailed as a hero?

*Wings Book 1 If you are expecting a nice main character who does as she's told and is the picture of virtue... you're reading the wrong book. But if you're expecting someone like me... mischievous, clever, and rather bad, you've come to the right place. I know you're expecting a summary, so I'll tell you this; I'm not who you think I am. Humans have created their own stories about me - well, about us, but I'll get into that later - but those stories are mostly corruptions of what really happened. They even get the names wrong! Well, mostly. The others don't know I'm writing this, but if they find out... heh, heh, it's not going to be pretty. Don't tell them, okay? Well, as I was saying, I was adopted into my family, the Altheans. They live in a shining city, Althea, and all follow the rules of this guy called Orvin. I would object, only he's the one who rescued me from the ruins of the human village I was trapped in in the first place, so I can't complain. For some strange reason, he's banned us all from going to Earth for two hundred years (though I didn't exactly follow that rule) and for some equally mysterious reason, he's decided to let us go down there again. This is my story.
