Into the Wilds

All her life Deja has been told that the thick, dark forest surrounding the walled kingdom of Cerulis was rife with danger, filled with creatures that could, and would, swallow you whole. Nevertheless, Deja yearned for adventure, she dreamed of seeing the world beyond the wall, of finding out once and for all if the rumors were true.

As much as she wanted to, she never did.

Owning an airship was illegal, not that she could have afforded one even if they weren't. Life in the Cogworks wasn't easy, and it certainly wasn't profitable. Between the cafe her mother owned, and the mining her father did, Deja lived a comfortable, if lackluster life.

That is, until he showed up. Deja never considered what would happen when she helped the dark haired boy out of a pinch, she had certainly never thought he'd be so damn ungrateful for her help.
