My wings. They were gone. My back was so empty it ached. I felt so...light. "Blyce, look." Jack nudged her shoulder excitedly. And there it was. The Overworld.

 After years of being raised in the dark Underworld, I had finally seen sunlight. The sun's rays beamed down at the beautiful green grass before my feet. It was so magical. Now, this was my home. Forever.
