What you are going to read now isn't exactly a story. It is derived from a favourite story, though-the story of the boy who lived. This story comprising seven parts has captivated young and old minds alike, all over the world, and many of us grew up with the characters of the story, throughout the years. Even now, long after the last book and the very last movie came out, the world is still divided into two categories- potter heads and non-potter heads. If you are already reading with interest, what I have been telling till now, it obviously means you belong to the first category. So, I don't really need to tell you why that magical world truly is something special and magical. For the benefit of the second category, this story of the boy wizard Harry Potter, and his journey through the seven years of the school of magic called Hogwarts came like a breath of fresh air. It created a completely new world filled with magical spells, potions, wands, witches and wizards, unlike what anyone had ever heard of, before. Why did it captivate us so much? You see, every time one opened a book from the series or started watching a movie based on it, it completely absorbed us into this world, making us feel as though we were really with the witches and wizards, learning magic and practicing it. It made us laugh and cry in equal measure and taught us so many life lessons on friendship, love, bravery, equality, sacrifice and much more. Here, what I will be trying to do, is talk about these lessons, and how we can apply them to our present-day life, and become better muggles (that's the term for non-magical folks, in case you don't know, in other words, human beings). I hope you enjoy it without yawning too much in boredom!
