I looked out my window and I saw a car I had never seen before. it was black and it had this weird design on it. people then came out of the car. 3 people. they dressed differently. I couldn't think of what they were until they came up to my doorstep. they were robbers. my dad answered the door and then the person in the middle pulled out a knife and stabbed my dad in the stomach. my dad's dark red blood was all over the tan carpet by the door. I had to think and think fast, I then opened my window and crawled out as fast as I could. I ran and ran but the car was following me as I ran. I came across the Woodland Bridge and I knew what I had to do. I got on the ledge, plugged my nose, and jumped. as I was falling, a voice in my head said, "everything's gonna change".
I couldn't breath, I couldn't breath. I can't do this. that same voice told me, "you can do it, just swim". so I swam and swam. it was hard for me because I have small lungs. I got to the shore. I made it..

How We Met
As I see my mom walk out the door I look at my dad smiling at me. The way he smiled at me made realize how afraid he was. The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" I screamed this time, trying to push myself up onto my back, my leg killing me so much that I had to give up. I laid back down on the ground, placing my hand on the bottom of the table; anger, fear, confusion getting the best of me. I screamed as I banged my fists on the wood table. "MOM? BETTY?" Nothing. I was ready to bang on the wood again, but I flinched back when I heard the sound of moving rubble. Whoever it is was almost near where I was, and ... moving quickly. So, there's no possible way that it was a human. It would take hundreds do men to lift these boulders, but whoever this person is, is stronger than anyone I would kn- My thoughts froze as I watched something large wrap around the edges of the table, lifting it up; my eyes widening as I came face to face with the largest creature known to mankind.
