Enko is fed up. Fed up with a losing war. Fed up dependence on foreigners. Fed up with trying to explain to her nephew that his father is never coming back.
Gilga is a standoffish naga who has lived their whole life in pursuit of greater knowledge. But now that life is ending. Once they are gone, no one will know their accomplishments or take care of their precious possessions. They have just 6 months to prevent their own death before their legacy ends.
When Enko drops the sacrifice meant to appease Gilga, the serpent refuses to help the tribe. It's up to Enko to save her tribe's last hope and convince Gilga to work with her if it's the last thing they both do.

This a remixed retelling of the legend of Gilgamesh, one of the oldest stories in existence. It is set in a precolonial world filled with Tolken-esque fantasy races.

Most impressive rank: 1 - Fairytale *** Casey is all alone in the werewolf world, the only family she has left is her crazy dad. her mum died of cancer, causing her dad to go crazy and start beating Casey. What's worse is that she can't get away from the violence because when she goes to school they do the same. *** I close my eyes so I could listen and smell everything in case this was the last time I would ever be in this beautiful forest. I chase away any bad or worried thoughts because this place seemed so sacred it did not allow them. I breath in and catch the sweet scent of lavender flowers that speckled the ground in little clumps and the dry smell of dirt that hadn't been rained on in a couple of day. I listen to the steady titters of birds as they fly from tree to tree, collecting little twigs and leaves to build their nests with. I listen to the buzz of the bees greedily feasting on the flowers that scattered around the dry forest floor. I open my eyes to take in the scenery, rays of sunlight filter through the green canopy, penetrating through the leaves and casting a green-yellow effulgence over the ground that wavers as the trees rustle in the light whispers of wind. The crunching of dry leaves under my feet alert me so I cast my eyes to the floor and watch as I step on each individual leaf and dry twig, enjoying the snapping sounds that echo through the near silent forest. Gnarly roots dip into ground and twisted branches reach down, fingers grasping the air, as if reaching for me and I shiver, thinking of my father. I cast my eyes up to think of something else and instantly calm as another puff of breeze rustles the leaves on the trees and ground gently. I look ahead and notice the steady thinning of the old trees and run towards it, loving the feeling of the air in my air and clothes. I spot what I think is light dancing on waters surface and sprint for it. Then I break through the trees, making it to the lake.

It's been two hundred years since the Blight swept through the forest. The Lands of Order has experienced great peace and prosperity, but deep within the Savage Lands, an army is rising. Infused with a mysterious, dark power, the lizard-men race of the balisekts invades the civilized territories with an overwhelming force. No one knows the source of their black magic, but it seems tied to a mysterious girl found in the woods. She has no memory of who she is or where she came from, but she is infused with the ability to make things grow at her will. The tribes of the Lands of Order hope to use her abilities to bring them prosperity, while the balisekts seek to make her a weapon of war. Note:I own nothing but the story all credit goes to Hiro Mashima (the creator of the anime) After a tragic accident ending up in the death of his best friend, Natsu Dragneel becomes depressed and spiteful to those around him. Suddenly he and a few of his guild mates are whisked away into a future world with no way home. Watch as the group hopelessly adjust to the new world and struggle to find the cause. Will Natsu ever get over the death of his best friend and reconnect with those around him. This contains an OC, she's not a major character This was my first story I made public when I was very new to writing- this is not a masterpiece by any means and merely a tool to help me improve on my storytelling and writing ability- you have been warned
