Where do dreams come from, and where do they go when we return to the Waking World? A land that everyone visits, but only few can remember- and even fewer can remain; A place where everything exists, so long as it can be imagined: The Dreamscape.
But lately trouble has been brewing in the realm of dreams. An entire class of large robotic spider dreams- spider-bots- have been swarming and raiding in larger numbers than ever, sucking dry the resources that keep the Dreamscape running.
A young Dreamseeker, an inexperienced but curious explorer of this world, finds herself unexpectedly called upon by the mighty Council to find out what's happening and save the Dreamscape. But why has she been chosen for this quest? And will she be able to stop the spider-bots before it's too late?

Echoes of the Dreamscape
Hidden away where no one could see, a war raged on. Dream Weavers vs. Dream Killers. Chaos broke out and families divided, causing everything to fall apart. The Dreamscape was in danger, but one prophecy was whispered throughout the realm. Someone from the real world would come down and end the war that has raged for eons. No one knew who, so finally, they decided to call that one 'The Lucid'. And this is where it all starts. . . 16-year-old Lillian had a simple life, nothing exciting really happened. But all of that changed when she came back from summer camp. As she finally fell asleep, she woke up in the Dreamscape. Thus, the prophecy finally started to unfold. . . It's part of a series of novellas I wrote for my players to let them know what their characters are up to. Naturally this means that it was written with the intent that the reader was already familiar with the world. I have done my best to adapt the story for new readers and included footnotes for lore that does not outright speak for itself. This story follows an 18-year-old boy by the name of Alex. A mild-mannered guy living a lonely life. He has no friends, a family that hate him, no prospects and no dreams. But all that changes when he discovers he has a rare and unique gift that will change his life for good, he can make his dreams and nightmares become a reality. For reasons unknown to him, he finds out his mum has been taken by an evil demonic cult and with his newfound gift, sets out to rescue her. He must now embark on an adventure of enormous proportions to find skilled individuals that can fulfill this journey, only they can help him defeat these demons. It's an arduous quest because with the powers he has achieved, he finds it difficult to figure out what is a dream and what is reality. It's a test against time, humanity and his own sanity. Can he defeat the demons that haunt him, rescue his mum and break away from the nightmare that's taking over his mind, and ultimately stop his own dreams from destroying the world. The real question is, are the demons that took his mum real or have they been brought into his world from the depths of his own nightmares?
