Valerie Bell works in a Fashion agency as a concept artist along with her beloved colleagues, Lucie Ashton and Shane Andrews. While nothing of interest usually happens, Valerie can honestly say she wants nothing more out of life than this. Fate has other plans.

After coming across a sad, drenched cat during a storm, she takes it home and cares for it, saving its life. The cat has fur unlike anything she's ever seen - Earthy brown with crimson tints. She's never usually one for taking further action with animals due to the strict pet policy at her apartment complex but this time she couldn't help herself... it was as though a second force was pushing her forward.

Things seem to go back to normal before one day, after a drunken wish, she wakes up to find her bed not warm with the presence of a cat... but with a human man?!
